Over 250 Attendees Enjoy the Day-Use Trailhead Opening Celebration

R.O. Ranch and the Suwannee River Water Management District hosted an opening celebration featuring the new Crossway Branch Trailhead on Saturday, April 28 for an enthusiastic crowd of over 250 people. More than 120 riders, including members of the South Georgia Trail Riders, the Madison Trail Riders, and the Florida Whips, participated in the trail ride lead by ranch manager Ron Clayton and several local volunteers. Attendees also enjoyed free wagon rides and a lunch prepared by Sheriff Carson McCall and W.C. Hart of Lafayette County. After lunch was served by the R.O. Ranch Board of Directors, Chairman Louis Shiver introduced the Schultes, who received a standing ovation for their generous donation.
